North Bay Credit Union announced today that it has joined the Banking-as-a-Service (Baas) Association. The BaaS Association provides a unified voice for financial institutions engaged in the business of Banking-as-a-Service.

The association, formed in 2022, promotes, supports, and advocates for BaaS financial institutions that serve millions of customers and members in a safe and compliant way. The BaaS Association also helps establish sound bank-fintech partnerships, including those who provide banking services for underbanked and underserved communities.

Dave Mayo, Co-Founder of the BaaS Association, said “Our goal is to address some of the challenges BaaS banks and fintechs face around awareness, industry standards, and new technology as it emerges.”
