No Taxes on Credit Unions
01/24/2025

Credit unions are different than banks. As not-for-profit financial cooperatives, credit unions put people first. That’s why more than 140 million Americans choose credit unions as their trusted financial partner.
The new congress and administration are moving fast on tax changes, which could mean adding a new tax on credit unions and the members they serve — including you.
Please contact your lawmakers today to make sure they understand that any new tax on credit unions is a tax increase on more than 140 million Americans.
For more than a century, Americans have relied on credit unions. Our credit union, for example, was founded in 1948 by Sonoma County Grange members to help local farmers who had no access to affordable and reliable banking.
Since then, we’ve helped thousands in the North Bay thrive with the best banking that only a not-for-profit cooperative can deliver. We invest in our community, instead of siphoning profits to out-of-town banks.
